POST-RELEASE

21 May, 2019, the 4th St. Petersburg international printing forum “Print Park” was held in St. Petersburg (Russia) – the largest business event in the printing industry of the country.

The general partner of the Forum was the “Ilim” Group of Companies – Russia’s leader of the pulp and paper industry and one of the leading industry players in the world.
The official partners of the Forum are “Konica Minolta”, a leading supplier of digital equipment, and “Europapier”, a major wholesale supplier of paper and cardboard.

The Forum has seriously expanded its geography: among more than 1,000 registered and participating visitors in the Forum, more than a third of St. Petersburg guests from all over Russia and also printers from near and far abroad.

The business part of the Forum was held simultaneously in eight halls and a demonstration area, where over 60 speakers from Russia, Germany, Estonia, the Netherlands, Italy, and the United Kingdom delivered messages and presentations on various topical issues.

More than 20 companies which include equipment and materials suppliers and the suppliers of the latest technology of the industry exhibited their new products and showed their achievements at the demonstration area.

An unusual PRINT-BATL took place as part of Print PARK, the opponents were suppliers and printers and the topic of the discussion was “Bulldozer against dandelions. Equalize the market or create growth points?”. Printers could not only ask any question through their smartphones but also vote online for the speaker, whose position and market assessment raised a greater interest.

A round table was organized at the end of the Forum with the active participation of the company “Double V” – “BRAND PACKAGING. CONFLICT OF MUTUAL INTERESTS”.

At the closing ceremony, the most distinguished employees of the printing industry of St. Petersburg were awarded with official thanks from the St. Petersburg Administration Committee on Print and Media Relations and with the certificates of the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications.
The laureates were presented with honorary signs “Excellent worker of the printing industry of St. Petersburg”, diplomas and memorable signs titled “Honored Polygraphist of St. Petersburg” which is considered to be the highest professional public award of the printing industry of St. Petersburg. This sign is awarded as a token of appreciation and respect of workers of the printing industry of the city.

The next fifth PrintPARK will be held in October 29, 2019.
